Dr. Fordoski grew up in Kersey, PA. She was a graduate of Saint Mary's Area High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh Main Campus and continues on with her professional training at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia. During schooling she did rotations that specialized in general eye examinations, contact lens fittings, pediatrics, retinal disease, and anterior segment disease. In 2009 she finished school with her Doctorate of Optometry and began working at the Elk County Eye Clinic after graduation. She resides in Kersey with her husband David Fordoski and her daughter Addison.
In her spare time, she is currently a member of the St. Mary's Lions Club and a board member for the United Way. She is a preceptor for the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Fordoski enjoys spending time with her family and friends, snowmobiling in the winter, camping and kayaking in the summer, and taking long walks with her Border Collie, Kaydee.
